Brachystigma wrightii (also called Wright's brachystigma, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to the Caribbean and Central America. It has a rounded crown and grows up to 10 meters in height. It is found in tropical lowland and montane forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
