Description

Telipogon perlobatus (also called Lobed Telipogon, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species found in Colombia and Ecuador. It has a single, erect, leafless stem with a single, terminal, resupinate flower. It is found in montane forests at elevations of 1,400–2,400 m.

Cultivation and Propagation

Telipogon perlobatus is a shrub or small tree that can grow up to 5 m tall. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and can tolerate light shade. Propagation is by seed or cuttings.
