Description

Telipogon parvulus (also called 'Small Telipogon', among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Colombia and Ecuador. It grows in wet montane forests at elevations of 1,000–2,000 m. It has a single, erect, fleshy, elliptic-lanceolate leaf and a single, erect, fleshy, cylindrical inflorescence with many flowers.

Telipogon parvulus is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a cut flower. It is also used in traditional medicine to treat fever, stomach ache, and diarrhea.
