                            Sacoila hassleri (also called Hassler's Sacoila, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 5 m tall. It is native to the tropical rainforest regions of Central and South America. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and can be found in the understory of the rainforest.
