Description

Rhynchostele aptera (also called Aptera Palm, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family. It is native to Central America, specifically Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. It grows in humid tropical forests, at elevations of up to 1,500 m (4,900 ft).
