Description

Pseudorhiza nieschalkii (also called 'Nieschalk's helleborine', among many other common names) is a small herbaceous plant native to Europe and Asia. It grows up to 50 cm tall and has a dense, spreading crown. Its leaves are lanceolate, dark green and glossy on the upper surface, and paler beneath. It is found in lowland and montane forests, and in scrub and shrubland.
