                        Description
                        
                            Pleurothallis nitida (also called Nitida Pleurothallis, among many other common names) is a small epiphytic orchid species with an erect stem and a single leaf. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, and is found in humid montane forests at elevations of 1000-2500 meters.
