Description
Pleurothallis cedrinorum (also called 'Cedrinorum' or 'Cedrino', among many other common names) is a small epiphytic orchid with a single, erect stem, reaching up to 2 cm in height. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, and is found in humid montane forests at elevations of 1,000 to 2,000 m.
Cultivation and Propagation
Pleurothallis cedrinorum can be propagated by division of the rhizomes or by seed. Rhizomes should be divided in spring or early summer, and the divisions should be planted in a well-drained medium with high humidity and bright, indirect light.
