Description

Pleione pleionoides (also called 'Chinese Pleione', among many other common names) is a small terrestrial orchid species native to the Himalayas and China. It is found in moist, shady forests at elevations of 1000-3000 meters. It has a short stem and two to four leaves. The flowers are white and fragrant.
