Pinalia pachyphylla is a perennial shrub that can be propagated by seed or vegetative means. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained, sunny location in the spring. The seedlings should be thinned to a spacing of 10-15 cm (4-6 in). Vegetative propagation can be done by division of the rootstock in the spring or by cuttings taken in the spring or summer.
