Description

Phragmipedium schlimii (also called Schlim's Slipper Orchid, among many other common names) is a species of orchid in the Cypripedioideae subfamily. It is native to Central and South America, and typically grows in humid, tropical forests. It is an epiphytic orchid with long, thin, wiry stems and large, fleshy, heart-shaped leaves. The flowers are large and showy, with a white lip and yellowish-green sepals and petals.
