Phloeophila yupanki is a small, evergreen shrub that grows up to 1 m in height. It is native to South America and is found in dry, rocky habitats. It is easy to propagate from cuttings taken in spring or summer. Cuttings should be taken from the tips of the branches and planted in a well-draining, sandy soil mix. The cuttings should be kept moist until they have rooted. Once established, the plants should be watered regularly and fertilized twice a year.
