                        Description
                        
                            Peristylus carnosipetalus (also called Carnose-Petaled Peristylus, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to India and Sri Lanka. It has a single, erect stem with a single leaf and a single white flower with yellow spots. It grows in moist, shady forests.
