Description

Paphiopedilum tigrinum (also called Tiger Slipper Orchid, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to Southeast Asia. It has a single, leathery, oval-shaped leaf and a single, large, mottled flower with a pouch-like lip. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, often in limestone soils.
