Description
Oncidium tenellum (also called Delicate Oncidium, among many other common names) is a small epiphytic orchid with a single, erect, leafless stem. It is native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, from Mexico to Bolivia, and is found growing on trees in humid, shady areas.

Oncidium tenellum has a white flower with a yellow center. The seed is a small, black, round seed. The seedlings are small and have a single, round leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Oncidium tenellum is an epiphytic orchid that is easy to cultivate and propagate. It prefers bright, indirect light and temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). It should be grown in a well-draining potting medium, such as bark, and watered regularly. Propagation is done by division or by seed.
