Description

Nothostele acianthiformis (also called Acianthiform Nothostele, among many other common names) is a species of fern native to Costa Rica and Panama. It grows up to 15 cm tall and has a stem diameter of up to 0.5 cm. It is found in montane rainforests, and prefers moist, cool climates.
