Description

Nohawilliamsia pirarensis (also called Pirarucu Nohawilliamsia, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub native to South America. It typically grows to a height of 1-2 m and has a stem diameter of up to 1 cm. Its leaves are simple and its flowers are white or yellow. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in secondary forests.
