Description
Mormodes variabilis (also called Variabilis, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Central and South America. It is a small epiphytic orchid with long, thin stems that can reach up to 30 cm in length. The leaves are narrow and lanceolate, and the flowers are small and yellow. It grows in humid forests, often near streams or rivers.
