Description

Mormodes issanensis (also called 'Issan Mormodes', among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Central America and northern South America. It is found in wet and dry forests, as well as in disturbed areas, from sea level to elevations of 1,200 m. It has a robust stem and large, leathery leaves. The flowers are yellowish-green with a red lip.
