Uses & Benefits
Masdevallia oscarii is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant. It is also used for its medicinal properties, including treating fever, headaches, and digestive issues.
Cultivation and Propagation
Masdevallia oscarii can be propagated by division or by seed. To propagate by division, separate the offsets from the parent plant and pot them up in an orchid potting mix. To propagate by seed, sow the seeds in a sterile medium and keep them in a warm, humid environment. The seedlings should be potted up in an orchid potting mix when they are large enough to handle.
