Description

Malaxis pandurata (also called fiddle-shaped malaxis, among many other common names) is a small terrestrial orchid species with a single leaf and a single flower. It is native to Brazil and is found in the Atlantic Forest biome. It grows in wet, shady areas in the understory of the forest.
