                        Cultivation and Propagation

Gomesa barkeri is a small, epiphytic orchid that is native to Central and South America. It is usually found growing on trees in humid, tropical forests. Propagation is usually done through division or seed. Division should be done in the spring when the plant is actively growing. Seeds should be sown on a well-drained medium and kept moist and warm until germination. Once the seedlings are established, they should be repotted into a well-draining potting mix.
