Description

Gastrodia javanica (also called Javanese Gastrodia, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid native to Java and Bali. It grows in humid tropical forests, and has a single, fleshy, tuberous root. Its leaves are narrowly lanceolate, and its flowers are white and fragrant.
