Description
                        
                            Gastrodia holttumii (also called 'Holttum's Tongue Orchid', among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid native to China, Japan, and Korea. It has a single, fleshy, tongue-like leaf, and a single, short-lived, white flower. It grows in grassy areas, woodlands, and thickets.

                            Gastrodia holttumii is a terrestrial orchid native to tropical Asia. It can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers a well-drained, humus-rich soil in partial shade.
