Description
Galeandra claesii (also called Claes' Galeandra, among many other common names) is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. It has ovate to lanceolate leaves, with a pointed tip and a smooth, glossy surface. It grows in a variety of habitats, including open woodlands, grasslands, and disturbed areas.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Galeandra claesii has white flowers that are tubular in shape and have five petals. The seeds are small, black, and round. The seedlings are small and have long, thin stems with small, oval-shaped leaves.
