Description

Epipactis albensis (also called White Helleborine, among many other common names) is a terrestrial orchid species native to Europe. It has an erect stem, up to 30 cm tall, with alternate, lanceolate leaves, up to 8 cm long and 1 cm wide. It blooms in the spring and summer, with white flowers, up to 1 cm wide, and grows in grasslands and open woodlands.

Uses & Benefits

Epipactis albensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant. It is also used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments.
