                        Description
                        
                            Epidendrum tipuloideum (also called 'Tipuloideum Epidendrum', among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Central America, from Mexico to Costa Rica. It is found in wet forests at elevations of 500–2000 m. It has a sympodial growth habit, with short, branching stems and oblong-lanceolate leaves. The inflorescence is a terminal raceme with fragrant, yellow-green flowers.

                            Epidendrum tipuloideum is used in traditional medicine to treat fever, headaches, and stomach aches.                             The flower of Epidendrum tipuloideum is yellow-greenish and about 2 cm wide. The seed is small, brown and round.                         Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Epidendrum tipuloideum is a terrestrial or epiphytic orchid native to Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. It can be grown in a pot or mounted on a tree or cork slab. It prefers bright light and regular watering. Propagation is by division of the rhizome or by seed.
