                        Description
                        
                            Epidendrum pilcuense (also called Pilcuense Epidendrum, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Peru. It is a small epiphyte with thin, cylindrical stems and small, ovate leaves. It grows in humid forests at elevations of 1000-2000 m.

                        Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Epidendrum pilcuense is an epiphytic orchid species that is native to Colombia and Ecuador. It is found in moist, shady forests from sea level to elevations of 1,500 meters. It can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be grown in a well-draining, chunky potting mix. Water regularly and keep the soil lightly moist, but not soggy.
