                        Description
                        
                            Epidendrum delcastilloi (also called 'Del Castillo's Epidendrum', among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Central America and northern South America. It is a small to medium-sized epiphyte with a creeping rhizome, and has pseudobulbs with two to three leaves. It is found in wet and dry forests, from sea level to elevations of 1,500 m.                        
                     
                                
                                    
                        Uses & Benefits
                        
                            Epidendrum delcastilloi is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a cut flower. It is also used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments such as fever, colds, and stomach problems.

                            Epidendrum delcastilloi has small white flowers with a yellow centre. The flowers have a sweet scent.                         Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Epidendrum delcastilloi is an epiphytic orchid that grows in warm climates. It requires bright, indirect light and should be grown in a well-draining potting mix. Propagation is done by division or by seed.
