                        Cultivation and Propagation

Encyclia bicalhoi is a tropical orchid that is native to Brazil. It is propagated through division of the rhizome, which should be done in the spring. The rhizome should be divided into sections that have at least two to three pseudobulbs with roots attached. The divisions should be planted in a potting mix that is well-draining and contains a mix of bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss. The pot should be placed in a warm, humid environment with bright, indirect light.
