Description

Elleanthus condorensis (also called Condorensis Elleanthus, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Central America and northern South America. It is found in wet forests, often in the understory of taller trees, at elevations of 500-1700 m. It has a short stem with a single, large, leathery leaf and a single, large, yellow flower.
