                        Description
                        
                            Elleanthus aureus (also called 'Golden Elleanthus' and 'Golden Elleanth', among many other common names) is a small shrub native to South America. It has lanceolate leaves and small, yellow-gold flowers. It typically grows in open forests, meadows, and along roadsides and streams.
