Description

Disa scutellifera (also called Shield-Bearing Disa, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to South Africa. It grows in grassland and rocky areas, and has a stem of up to 40 cm in height. The flowers are white, pink, or purple, and have a yellow or orange lip.
