Description

Dipodium variegatum (also called 'Variegated Hyacinth Orchid', among many other common names) is a perennial terrestrial orchid species native to South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia. It has a single, erect, leafy stem and a single flower. The leaves are linear-lanceolate and the flowers are white or pinkish in color. It grows in grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
