Description
Dendrobium sinominutiflorum (also called 'Minute-flowered Dendrobium', among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It is found growing on trees in moist forests at elevations of 500-1500 m. This species has a creeping rhizome and thin, upright stems. The leaves are narrowly lanceolate, and the flowers are small, white or pinkish, and fragrant.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium sinominutiflorum is a slow-growing, epiphytic orchid that can reach a height of about 8 inches. It is best grown in partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is by division of the clumps.
