Description
Dendrobium quinquedentatum (also called 'Five-Toothed Dendrobium', among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to tropical and subtropical Asia, from India to China, Japan, and the Philippines. It is found in rainforests, growing on trees or rocks. It has long, thin stems with many small, round leaves and small, white flowers with yellow and purple markings.
Cultivation and Propagation
Cultivation and propagation of Dendrobium quinquedentatum: This species is best grown in warm to hot temperatures with bright light and good air movement. It can be grown in a well-drained medium such as bark, sphagnum moss, or a combination of both. Propagation is best done by division of the pseudobulbs or by backbulb division.
