Description
Dendrobium monophyllum (also called Common Sun Orchid, among many other common names) is a species of orchid found in India, Sri Lanka, and China. It is a small to medium sized epiphytic orchid with a single leaf. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests at elevations of up to 1,500 meters.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium monophyllum can be propagated by division or cuttings. Division should be done when the plant is dormant, and the divisions should be planted in a well-drained potting mix.
