Description
Dendrobium molle (also called 'Molle Dendrobium', among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Southeast Asia. It has long, thin, leathery leaves and grows in humid, tropical forests. It is found in India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium molle can be propagated by division or cuttings. Division should be done when the plant is dormant, and the divisions should be planted in a well-drained potting mix. Cuttings should be taken from healthy stems and planted in a well-drained potting mix. The plants should be kept in a warm, humid environment and should be watered regularly.
Where to Find Dendrobium molle
Dendrobium molle is native to India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It can be found growing in tropical rainforests, on trees, and in rocky areas at elevations of up to 1,000 meters.
