Description
Dendrobium mitriferum (also called Mitre-shaped Dendrobium, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Southeast Asia. It has thin, cylindrical pseudobulbs, each with a single, leathery leaf. The flowers are white with purple stripes, and the plant is found in humid, tropical forests at elevations of up to 1000 meters.

Dendrobium mitriferum has small, white flowers with yellow or pink stripes. The seed is small and round, and the seedlings are small and green.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium mitriferum can be propagated by division or by stem cuttings. It prefers a warm to hot climate with bright light and good air circulation. It should be grown in a well-draining medium, such as bark or sphagnum moss, and watered regularly. Fertilize every two weeks during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer.
