Description
Dendrobium hamadryas (also called 'Hamadryas' and 'Hamadryas Dendrobium', among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to India, Nepal, and Bhutan. It is a small, sympodial epiphyte with an erect stem and long, thin, leathery leaves. It grows in humid, shady forests at elevations of 1000-2000 meters.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium hamadryas is an epiphytic orchid native to Southeast Asia. It can be grown in a variety of media, including bark, sphagnum moss, and coconut husk. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be watered regularly. Propagation is done by division of the rhizome.
