Description
Dendrobium deltatum (also called 'Dwarf Dendrobium', among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Southeast Asia. It has a short stem, with leaves that are arranged in two rows. It grows in moist, shady forests, and is found in Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium deltatum is an epiphytic orchid that can be grown in a pot or basket with an open, well-draining medium such as tree fern fiber, bark chips, or sphagnum moss. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be kept moist but not soggy. Propagation is by division or by seed.
