Description
Dendrobium chiengmaiense (also called Chiengmai Dendrobium, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. It has long, thin, dark green leaves and produces long, thin, white and yellow flowers. It is found in humid forests, often growing on trees.

The flower of Dendrobium chiengmaiense is white, with a yellow lip. The seed is small, round and black. The seedlings are small, green and oval shaped.
Cultivation and Propagation
Dendrobium chiengmaiense is an epiphytic or lithophytic orchid that can grow up to 1 m tall. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. It prefers a warm, humid climate and bright indirect light. It can be propagated from seed or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining potting mix and kept moist. Divisions should be taken from the base of the plant and potted in a moist potting mix. It should be fertilized regularly with an orchid fertilizer.
