Description

Cyrtochilum grandiflorum (also called Large-flowered Cyrtochilum, among many other common names) is an epiphytic orchid species native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is found in humid montane forests at elevations of 1000-3000 meters. It has an erect habit and its stems reach up to 40 cm in length. Its flowers are yellowish-green with brownish-purple spots.
