Description

Cleistes buenaventurae (also called Santa Marta Cleistes, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Colombia and Venezuela. It is a terrestrial plant, growing in wet, shady areas of the tropical rainforest. It has a short stem and two to four leaves, and produces a single flower with a white lip and yellow sepals and petals.
