                        Description
                        
                            Cheirostylis rubrifolia (also called Red-leaved Cheirostylis, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Asia. It is an epiphytic or lithophytic plant, growing to 0.3–1 m (1–3 ft) tall, with linear leaves and small yellow flowers in summer.

                            Cheirostylis rubrifolia is used as an ornamental plant, for erosion control, and for its medicinal properties, including its anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial effects.

                            The flower of Cheirostylis rubrifolia is small and pink in colour. Its seed is small and round in shape. Its seedlings are small and have a single cotyledon.                        
                     
                                
                
                
                                    
                        Cultivation and Propagation
                        
                            Cheirostylis rubrifolia is an epiphytic orchid native to tropical rainforests in Southeast Asia. It is best grown in a warm, humid environment with bright, indirect light. The plant should be grown in a well-draining, loose potting mix that is high in organic matter. Water regularly, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
