                        Description
                        
                            Calanthe vestita (also called Hairy Calanthe, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Orchidaceae, native to tropical Asia. It is an evergreen terrestrial orchid growing to 0.3–1 m tall, with a slender, erect, unbranched stem and a terminal rosette of leaves. It is found in a wide range of habitats, from dry savanna to rainforest.
