                        Description
                        
                            Calanthe argenteo-striata (also called Argenteo-striata, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant found in the Andes of Peru and Bolivia. It has a short stem and a basal rosette of leaves. The flowers are white and the fruits are capsules. It grows in humid montane forests and grasslands.
