                            Calanthe abbreviata (also called Short Calanthe, among many other common names) is a species of orchid native to Japan. It is an evergreen, terrestrial orchid, growing up to 30 cm in height, with a rosette of basal leaves and a spike of small, bell-shaped flowers.
