Description
Bulbophyllum subapetalum (also called Subapetalum, among many other common names) is a small evergreen tree or shrub with a dense, rounded crown and a smooth, grey bark. It is native to Madagascar and grows in humid forests, in ravines and on rocky slopes.

Bulbophyllum subapetalum is a medium-sized evergreen tree that grows up to 20 m in height. It is native to New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands. It is a fast-growing species and can be propagated from seed. The seeds should be sown in a well-drained soil mix and kept moist. Germination usually takes place within 4-6 weeks. Once the seedlings have developed a few sets of leaves, they can be transplanted into individual containers.
