Cultivation and Propagation
Bulbophyllum similissimum is a small, evergreen epiphyte that grows up to 30 cm tall. It is native to the Himalayas and is found in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. It prefers a moist, well-drained soil in partial shade. Propagation is usually done by division of the rhizomes, but seeds can also be used. It is best to divide the rhizomes in the spring or summer and keep them in a warm, shaded area until they are established.
